Complete the Basic Training Course. (NZ trained teachers have some exemptions.) Click here for training dates or contact us for more information.
Have an observed lesson (3-6 months after starting - contact your team leader for details). Observed lesson planning form (32KB)
Do I have to renew my accreditation?
Yes. Accreditation lasts for five years, after which you will need to submit the church endorsement form again, attend a refresher training course and be observed teaching. Police vetting needs renewing every three years.
