School Surveys – Your Favourite Topic!

Thank you Team Leaders for completing the annual survey form for your school(s) and returning it to us. (We do apologise that some of you got some strange names in the list that we sent you from last year – inexplicable database errors!)

The information collected is important so that we can ensure our database of teachers' details is accurate. We can also share information and contacts back to you from this database.

Time for Some Big Changes?

Currently CEC National and CEC Auckland are in the process of finalising discussions regarding the merger of both the organisations. This will most likely mean that progressively the CEC National office will move to Auckland.

CEC National has employed Tim Pratt as Transitional Manager to facilitate dialogue among both parties and to move this merger decision forward in a planned and orderly manner.

Effective from 1 July, Cedric Wilson has resigned from his Business Manager role that he has held with CEC Auckland for over 5 years. The bulk of his responsibilities will be taken on by Tim Pratt. From 2 July Cedric will continue to manage CEC Auckland Chaplaincy – with the continuing assistance of Maureen Wilson as Chaplaincy Advisor. They will both work mainly from home but will spend much of their time in schools and supporting chaplains in their work.

Other Staffing Changes

Sophie HallIt is a pleasure to welcome Sophie Hall, in the role of Office Administrator, to the CEC Auckland staff team.

Sophie has replaced Samantha George, who we farewelled at the end of March. She has gone to Adelaide, with her husband who is undertaking further theological study. It has been great having Samantha on the staff, we thank her for all she did for us and we wish the whole family all very best for the future.
